Here is Amber at her grandparents' house, opening up a birthday present. How lucky - Karina was included in this gift, and they both got the "fancy dolls" that they have been wanting so badly!
Amber and her class went to the nursing home that they visit each year. Here they are with a lady named Rudy. They interviewed her and did a craft together. Every year the kids become more and more comfortable with the people at the nursing home...I am proud of them!

oh man I love those girls! I also love that the school encourages kids to spend time with older citizens! That is one great school!
