Amber (age 7) and me
Today was a perfect day to do something outside, so I decided to let Amber skip school so that we could do something together. First, we had breakfast at her most favorite place, IHOP.
Then we were off to the zoo! The weather was warmer than usual, and there weren't too many people there. Amber made sure to wear a shirt that had an animal-print on it. She thinks about these things.
We saw some animals (Although is it just me? It seemed like alot of the areas were empty...)
We went on the merry-go-round...
We rode on the train...
We saw a cute, 2 day old chick...all together now..."Awwwwww!!!"
At the end of the day, Amber talked me into an ice cream and a pink monkey! It was a great day with my little girl. Before she started school, she and I would do lots of things together while Karina and Nick were in school. Today was kind of like old times, but now Amber is so much easier to go out with! We had such a fun day...
