Now that the kids are on to the whole "let's stay up til' midnight" thing, we have made some new traditions. We wear silly hats (weather we want to or not...!)
We order pizza
We each pick an ice cream flavor to share...like most people, one of our resolutions is to eat better and more healthy in the New Year. So, we like to eat badly until the very end of the old year! 
Afterwards, we play games (this year it was Apples to Apples) and watch a video (Journey to the Center of the Earth), and wait until midnight comes. Then we let off little "poppers" in our family room and scare the heck out of Amber and our poor dog!
