...is take the kids snowboarding! Every season, Michael takes the kids up, one at a time, for a day on the snow. They get up very early, ride for the day, and come back that evening.

... not to nitpick, but that's actually Donner Lake. Tahoe is about 15 miles Southeast :).
It was a great day, and Karina rode like a total champ, too :).
